How Might We Project

 What is your  "How Might We "statement for your project?  How will you use it to guide your research?

My "How Might We " statement was:

  • How might we- Help homeless people
  • for- People around the world that are less fortunate
  • By deigning a- water resource
  • with- recycled materials
I will use this "How Might We " statement to guide myself though my topic. Allowing myself to focus on a certain topic that I want to research. The piece of paper helped me focus on what I want to do with my research. Thinking about the deigned thinking of my project.

The takeaways I have from the deigned thinking are being able to see what my classmates deign thinking. Being able to see other classmates ideas sparked some ideas in my head. One other takeaway I took from the design thinking was having multiple sheets to write on. It allowed me to fail, trying multiple times changing the words on my design framework.

I can incorporate my idea to help homeless people get clean water, by designing something to help them. Trying to design something that will get them clean water. Or get them enough recognition on the internet to get them support. My idea is not set in stone yet. I still have the ability to shift my focus if needed. My number one goal is to help the homeless population in some way.

Last post of term 1

This lesson has changed my view on failure and success in all aspects of my life. In school, I learned that failure is a good thing, it builds character. It's important to fail because in life everyone will fail. The video taught me that the students who ace every test are not prepared to fail in real life. The most important thing I took away from this lesson was to learn and grow from your failures, don't let the failures change who you are. The advice I would give to someone who thinks they are a failure is to learn why they failed and make it into a positive. I would tell someone who thinks their failure is not the end of the world and think about the bigger picture. What a growth mindset means to me is growing from your failures rather than getting it to change who you are.
