Climate change

The global rights issue that I feel compelled to learn about is Climate change. I picked climate change as a topic I feel compelled to learn about because I am starting to see the effects humans are having on our climate. Climate change is the noticing of these changes including rising temperatures, shifting rainfall patterns, and increases in certain types of hazardous weather. The main reason why I picked climate change is from doing research and seeing how much we have affected the earth with our man-made machines. Also drilling all the natural resources from the body of the earth.

What compels me to take action on this global issue is how it's affecting the entire world. It is important that we understand how the climate is changing so that we can prepare for the future. Studying the climate helps us predict how much rain the next winter might bring, or how far sea levels will rise due to warmer sea temperatures. Another reason I want to take action is that global warming is affecting our climate change. Global warming will cause significant harm to the health of persons and their communities.

I think how I could bring an effective story to the awareness about climate change is by posting the facts so people can see for themselves. After showing what we have done to our earth and persuading the uncultured people of our world to take a step back and help our planet. We still have time to turn things around. The hard part is going to be persuading these big corporations into going green. Global warming is affecting our climate change rapidly.

Last post of term 1

This lesson has changed my view on failure and success in all aspects of my life. In school, I learned that failure is a good thing, it builds character. It's important to fail because in life everyone will fail. The video taught me that the students who ace every test are not prepared to fail in real life. The most important thing I took away from this lesson was to learn and grow from your failures, don't let the failures change who you are. The advice I would give to someone who thinks they are a failure is to learn why they failed and make it into a positive. I would tell someone who thinks their failure is not the end of the world and think about the bigger picture. What a growth mindset means to me is growing from your failures rather than getting it to change who you are.
